Extrusion lines for production of pipes

Bausano designs and implements complete plastic pipe extrusion lines based on extruder technology MD and E-GO series, suitable for production of thermoplastic pipes with diameters starting from a few millimeters up to 1,600 mm.

Bausano lines enable the production of product types for various applications: from rigid pipes with wide cross-section to flexible pipes with small diameter, from monolayer to multilayer products, from smooth to corrugated pipes.

Features:

The pipe extrusion lines are capable of processing different types of plastics:

soft and hard PVC, transparent, filled or combined with acrylic resins
CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride)
PO, polyolefins such as PE (polyethylene), PP (polypropylene), HDPE, LDPE
WPC based on PVC or polyolefins

Bausano over the years has studied many pipes application and materials from PVC to HDPE pipes. Especially Bausano specialized with its E-GO single screw extruder and MD twin screw extruders to produce PO and PVC pipes extruders.

The advantages of plastic pipes

The success over the years of plastic pipes is due to their characteristics. Plastic pipes are light in weight, tough, resistant to chemical attack and available in large lengths. Also, plastic pipes are not suggested to rust and have good elastic properties.
For this reason Pipe production and Pipe extrusion have seen a growing demand in the last years. Also, the demand of new type of plastic materials has grown due to optimized cost and quality.

Each line is complete with cooling and calibration benches, take off and cutting units, each featuring special measures to achieve additional energy savings up to 50%!

Pipe Specifications

Bausano systems are manufactured according to the specifications required by the single customer, with complementary machines tailored to the production goals. Our goal, from the design process, is the fulfilment of the requirements of pipe manufacturers, thus ensuring high productivity and a good melt homogeneity, in addition to further attention to noise reduction.

Our extruders are suitable for processing of all plastics used for pipe applications, like: PVC, CPVC and PP, PE,ABS, PPO, PEX, PPS, PA, Fluor Polymers as well as adhesive materials and EVOH.
